About The Position

Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a per diem Dietitian to provide dietary care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The hospital serves people recovering from life-altering injuries and illnesses, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other complex medical conditions. The Dietitian coordinates meal preparation and service with the Food Services Manager, including general and special diets, and specifies dietary requirements for patients with restrictions or nutritional needs. The role integrates the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.

Requirements

• Current Dietitian license or certification by the Commission on Dietetics, as required by state.
• Demonstrates understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Ability to use appropriate leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience caring for patients in a hospital setting is preferred.
