Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full time inpatient position at BILH Winchester Hospital, a 229-bed acute care hospital in Winchester, MA. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credential, or you are RD eligible (must obtain an RD credential within 30 days of hire).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in the inpatient setting, including critical care units.
  • Be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification.
  • Work rotating weekends and holidays providing hospital-wide coverage and food service support.
  • Participate in quality improvement and other special projects, as assigned.
  • Mentor and train staff and dietetic interns, as needed.
