About The Position
Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian for Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) located in Pine Bluff, AR. Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will perform nutrition assessments on adult patients including those on nutrition support (cardiac & med/surg), provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units, and have experience with the nutrition care process and electronic health record charting. The role also involves experience with Nutrition Focused Physical Exams, working collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff, participating in performance improvement projects, serving as a preceptor for dietetic interns, and possessing strong time management and communication skills.
Requirements
- At least 0-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Registered Dietitian or meet eligibility requirements for a registered dietitian
- Must be licensed or have a provisional license in Arkansas before start date
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Provide exceptional nutritional care and customer service to all patients and visitors
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
