Dietitian Consultant

MealSuite•Chandler, AZ

About The Position

Thrive Nutrition by MealSuite is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition care for residents in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation communities. The role combines in-person community visits with some remote work, using technology-enabled tools to reduce administrative work and support resident care. The position offers autonomy, a flexible schedule, and pay per visit or project under an independent-contractor agreement. Consultants provide nutrition assessments and recommendations, monitor residents’ nutritional status, educate residents and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams and communities. They also participate in care planning, conduct quality assurance audits, address concerns, and submit a visit summary and invoice after each visit. This is a non-exclusive 1099 independent-contractor engagement, not employment with MealSuite. Contractors choose which visits to accept and when to schedule them within community access hours and the agreed scope of work, and retain clinical judgment over their work. They may serve other clients, provide and pay for their own equipment, vehicles, phone, and business expenses, and are responsible for their own taxes. Contractors are not eligible for employee benefits.
