About The Position

Walden Behavioral Care offers a limited number of unpaid dietetic internship placements for Spring 2027 at its Middletown, Connecticut location. The internship offers direct experience supporting people with eating disorders and opportunities to develop clinical skills through training. Hours vary by clinic location, and interns may be expected to travel to meet hour requirements. Applicants must already be matched to a dietetic internship program; all basic clinical rotations must be completed before a scheduled rotation at Walden. Walden also requires direct contact with the internship coordinator or director to arrange placement details and the internship experience. Audio or video recording of patient information or sessions is not permitted at any Walden location due to HIPAA policy.

Requirements

• Must already be matched to a dietetic internship program; applicants not yet matched are not accepted.
• Must complete all basic clinical rotations before beginning a scheduled rotation at Walden Behavioral Care.
• The internship coordinator or director must be available for direct contact to arrange placement and experience details.
• Audio or video recordings of patient information or sessions are prohibited.
