About The Position

This role involves optimizing nutritional care plans by assisting in the planning and implementation of specialized medical diet plans, including calculating caloric intake and processing orders for complex tube feedings or formulas. The position also drives patient-centered assessment through clinical interviews and review of medical histories to identify individual nutritional needs, food preferences, and critical food allergies. Additionally, the role streamlines menu compliance by processing and reviewing daily menu selections to guarantee strict adherence to prescribed dietary restrictions and special care protocols, and monitors and documents clinical intake by tracking, evaluating, and meticulously documenting patient acceptance and intake of meals, supplements, and snacks to evaluate care plan efficacy.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Dietetic Tech credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience in milk mixing desirable
NDTR certification a plus
