About The Position

Serving patient food, maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient workstation. Knowledge of patients diets and various tray line positions to ensure accurate meals to patients. Operation of dish machine or pot washing station. Break down and clean up after meals. Maintain safe and sanitary conditions of tables, carts & equipment and service ware. Demonstrates ability to comprehend and complete job assignments as assigned. Uses all Personal Protective Equipment. Utilizes equipment in performing job functions as per department safety procedures. Reports unsafe, warring or damaged equipment. Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly condition at all times. Utilizes equipment in performing job functions as per department safety procedures. Complies with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Policies and Procedures.

Requirements
