Requirements

Leadership or supervisory experience required
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations
Excellent organization, communication, and team-building skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in dietary services within a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred
ServSafe Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
Passion for providing quality service and enhancing the resident experience

Responsibilities

Lead and support daily operations of the dietary department to ensure smooth, efficient service
Supervise, schedule, and develop dietary staff to maintain high performance standards
Oversee food preparation and service, ensuring meals are safe, appetizing, and meet dietary requirements
Manage food ordering, inventory, and budget controls
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility dietary and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care
Monitor resident dietary needs, preferences, and satisfaction
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
