About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Full Time Dietary Supervisor. This role involves patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, checking back on patients, handling special requests, and delivering food between meals. The supervisor is also responsible for patient satisfaction on their assigned units.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Certified Food Service Handler's Card
- Four years food service experience
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe Certification
- Two years supervisor experience
- Customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Patient meal service on assigned units
- Menu selections
- Tray assembly
- Tray delivery
- Check back on patients every five rooms
- Handle special requests, needs, and preferences
- In between meal food delivery
- Responsible for Patient Satisfaction on assigned units
