Dietary Supervisor
About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Full Time Dietary Supervisor. This position works 40 hours with a rotating schedule: 5:00a - 1:30p, 8:30a - 4:30p, 9:00a - 5:00p, or 12:00p - 8:00p. The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, checking back on patients every five rooms, special requests, needs, and preferences, and in-between meal food delivery. This role is also responsible for Patient Satisfaction on assigned units. Sentara Obici Hospital is a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility located in Suffolk, VA. It is a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, specializing in various services including orthopedics, spine, heart and vascular, advanced imaging, breast services, behavioral health, maternity, weight loss surgery, and a heartburn treatment center. Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent GED (Required)
- Certified Food Service Handler's Card (Required)
- Four years food service experience (Required)
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe Certification (Preferred)
- Two years supervisor experience (Preferred)
- Customer service experience (Preferred)
