About The Position

Cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards. The role may involve transporting carts, delivering or picking up meal trays, and performing ware washing duties. The position also includes regularly collecting and disposing of food-related waste and recyclables, complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements for kitchen safety and sanitation, and cleaning/maintaining carts and kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• No Degree or any other education earned (Required)
• No experience required.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas.
• Perform ware washing duties per safety guidelines, including dish machine and three-compartment pot sink.
• Regularly collect and dispose of all food-related and recyclable waste/trash.
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.
