About The Position

Mantey Heights Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary services department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious, appetizing meals while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and company regulations. Requirements

Previous supervisory experience in healthcare dietary services, long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or food service management
Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition principles
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
ServSafe Certification preferred or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Dietary Department.
Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, therapeutic diets, and resident preferences.
Maintain compliance with all local, state, federal, and company dietary regulations.
Supervise, schedule, coach, and develop dietary staff.
Monitor food quality, sanitation, and infection control standards.
Manage inventory, food ordering, and budget controls.
Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, Nursing, and Interdisciplinary Team.
Participate in resident care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure resident satisfaction with food service and dining experiences.
Maintain accurate records and documentation required by regulatory agencies.
