About The Position

CMC is seeking a full-time Dietary Food Services Worker to join our team! This position is responsible for preparing, assisting in meal preparation, tray assembly, meal delivery, and cooking meals according to established menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diet requirements. This role ensures food is prepared safely, and in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, and supports the dietary team in providing safe, accurate and timely meals to patients, residents, staff and our community. The Food Service Worker is expected to maintain professionalism and frequently works under minimal supervision. Successful candidates will possess an enthusiastic and willing attitude working as a contributing member of the Dietary team, consistent with CMC’s Mission and Vision. Come join us in the kitchen!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years to apply
• Possess a current State Food & Beverage Service Worker’s Permit
• Knowledge of basic food and culinary principles required

Responsibilities

• Preparing, assisting in meal preparation, tray assembly, meal delivery, and cooking meals according to established menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Ensuring food is prepared safely, and in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Supporting the dietary team in providing safe, accurate and timely meals to patients, residents, staff and our community.
• Maintaining professionalism and frequently works under minimal supervision.
