About The Position
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is a new 64-bed acute inpatient behavioral health hospital serving adults and geriatric patients in crisis. We provide short-term stabilization for behavioral health and substance use disorders in partnership with National Health Corporation (NHC), Tennova Healthcare, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Be part of opening a new hospital dedicated to improving behavioral health — one patient at a time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in food service and healthcare
- Willingness to learn food preparation, modified diets, and safety procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification (if required)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold meals
- Follow therapeutic and modified diet guidelines
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
