About The Position

Under general supervision of the Manager, Dietetic Operations, the Dietetic Services Floor Stock is responsible for procurement, receiving, storage and distribution of products. Prepare all purchase orders for food items, chemicals, disposable items (i.e., paper), china and flatware. Receives all deliveries from vendors, assures correct weight and count, and inspects for damage or spoilage. Works closely with prime vendor. Responsible for supervision of storeroom operations, scheduling and evaluating subordinates, and maintaining assigned area. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or commercial restaurant.
• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions when using, disposing, and mixing chemicals.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years experience in receiving, storing, and distribution duties and inventory preferred.
