About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team in Bowling Green, Missouri. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our long-term care facility residents. Your main goal will be to ensure that our residents receive high-quality and nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with our Dietitian to ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with diet therapy guidelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Knowledge of quantity and quality cooking techniques
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
• Flexible schedule to accommodate meal preparation and service times

Nice To Haves

• Certification in food safety and sanitation
• Experience working in a long-term care facility
• Experience with therapeutic diets

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for long-term care facility residents
• Ensure that all meals meet dietary needs and diet therapy guidelines
