About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role involves following planned menus and recipes, maintaining food quality and presentation, complying with food safety and sanitation guidelines, helping manage inventory and supplies, and providing positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. The listed pay rate is USD $18.50–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, as required by state or county law.
Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities
