About The Position

White Oak of Charlotte is currently accepting applications for a Dietary Cook. This role is available for both full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities for both first and second shifts. We are a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Charlotte, NC. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in a dietary or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and facility standards.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
