About The Position

We are seeking a energetic and experienced Cook to provide nutritious meals and snacks to our patients, maintain a clean kitchen and dining room and who is able to follow recipes, meal and diet plans. Typical Dietary Cook hours are 5:30am-1pm and 11am-6pm. It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community. For over 100 years, Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, located in Willoughby, Ohio, has provided high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services to adults, adolescents, and children. Requirements

  • Must be able to operate equipment used in serving and preparation of food.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with and for people.
  • Serve Safe Certification required in first year of employment, provided by the facility.
  • Two (2) years food preparation experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or volume food preparation experience preferred.
  • Serve Safe is strongly desired.
  • This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and discretion are essential.
  • This individual must have the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance required.
