About The Position

Ebenezer is seeking a Dietary Assistant/Server to provide dining room meal service to senior residents and maintain supplies in kitchenettes at Martin Luther Care Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, Minnesota. The center is part of Martin Luther Senior Living Campus and is managed by Ebenezer. It offers 137 units across Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Transitional Care. The role is scheduled for 80 hours every two weeks, with day/evening shifts and every other weekend. No prior experience is required, although customer service experience is preferred. The position calls for a desire to work with seniors, strong customer service and teamwork skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Serve prepared meals to residents and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
Promote positive resident relations and satisfaction with meal service.
Sanitize equipment and work areas and maintain supplies.
Assist with meal preparation and special events.
Provide kitchen support as needed, including washing dishes and cleaning floors.
Answer phones and communicate requests appropriately.
