About The Position

Ebenezer is hiring a Dietary Assistant/Server to provide dining room meal service to senior-age residents and maintain supplies in kitchenettes at its Skilled Nursing Facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role is described as a possible entry point for people interested in a medical career or students. The nutrition services schedule is 41 hours every two weeks, on the day shift, including every other weekend and holiday. The position offers a partial benefits package.

Requirements

• No previous experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork, and a positive demeanor are required.
• A desire to work with seniors is required.
• Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

• Work experience in a customer service setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve prepared meals to residents and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Promote positive resident relations and satisfaction with meal service.
• Sanitize equipment and work areas and maintain supplies.
• Assist with meal preparation and special events.
• Provide kitchen support as needed, including dishwashing and floor cleaning.
• Answer phones and communicate requests appropriately.
