About The Position

The Dietary Aide supports nutrition and resident care by assisting with meal preparation and service, managing food and floor supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities

• Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Dispose of refuse according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies according to standards, using first-in, first-out practices.
• Prepare meals safely and efficiently by following menus and standardized recipes.
• Portion and serve meals according to recipes and spreadsheet instructions.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
