About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Dietary Aide at Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri - Saint Robert. In this role, the Dietary Aide will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of meals for adolescents facing behavioral challenges.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least twenty-one (21) years of age
Serve Safe certification within 30 days of hire (Perimeter covers the cost!)

Nice To Haves

Valid Missouri Driver's License is preferred
Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents), and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, and the ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare meals in compliance with established dietary guidelines, nutritional standards, and specialty needs.
Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare providers to tailor meals for the medical and behavioral needs of patients, particularly adolescents.
Serve meals promptly, ensuring proper portioning presentations, and a positive dining experience for patients.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including safe food handling practices.
Monitor food supply levels, assist with ordering, and restock ingredients as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and complete the required food safety certification within 30 days of hire.
