About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Dietary Aide preparing and serving meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting communities and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The pay rate is USD $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and cleaning while following dietary needs and food safety and sanitation guidelines. The role involves interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests and working as part of a supportive team. Employees must comply with applicable COVID-19 vaccination policies and reside within the service area.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift or carry a maximum of 30 pounds and push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, as required by state or county law.
Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
