About The Position

The Dietary Aide assists with food service functions to ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Daily work includes helping prepare and serve food and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team committed to quality patient care. The advertised schedule is mornings, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health-care experience preferred.
• Prior food services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions.
• Help ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Implement and interpret the department’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
