The Dietary Aide’s primary function is to facilitate food service by taking orders and attending to customer needs as well as cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing soiled table linens, setting up tables and serving beverages. The position operates primarily in a kitchen and dining environment and requires constant alertness for resident safety. The role also involves interaction with residents, family members, and staff, and is subject to exposure to infectious diseases.
