About The Position

Moraine Court Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join its dining services team. The Dietary Aide helps prepare and serve nutritious meals while creating a welcoming dining experience for residents. The role is scheduled for two weekdays and every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions.

• Previous food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience.
• Experience in a senior living, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience serving individuals with specialized dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and food service.
• Serve meals according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.
• Support inventory management and notify supervisors of supply needs.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
