About The Position
The Dietary Aide Per Diem is responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and delivering patient meals. This role involves operating dishwashing equipment, assisting the cook, and stocking kitchen supplies on various floors. The position is per diem and offers an hourly wage of $17.00.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service.
- Basic knowledge of food service sanitation.
- High school graduate, or equivalent preferred.

- May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with preparing the salad and dessert bar.
- Wash dishes and maintain the dish room area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Maintaining an adequate supply of beverages.
- Ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies.
- Operating the dish machine.
- Assisting the cook as required.
- Stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required.
