About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Dietary Aides to join our dedicated team at a long-term care nursing facility in Staten Island, NY. As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. If you have prior experience as a Dietary Aide and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment where you can truly make a difference every day, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Dietary Aide in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and coworkers
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
Ensure residents receive meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
Follow infection control, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
Support the Dietary Manager and kitchen team as needed
Help create a positive dining experience for residents
