About The Position
The Dietary Aide helps patients make menu selections and assembles, delivers, and picks up meal trays. As part of the caregiving team, the role supports patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature. The position also performs routine tasks in kitchen and dishwashing areas according to standard practices and procedures and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Work is per diem/on call, with hours varying as scheduled.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and maneuver and push food delivery carts.
- Food Handler’s Card.
- On-the-job training, including a short demonstration, for up to 90 days.
