The dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor. This role involves learning food service routines, setting up meal trays, washing dishes, assisting with serving meals, preparing nourishments and snacks, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and putting away groceries. The position also requires cleaning work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors, as well as participating in staff training and cooperating with personnel in all departments.
