About The Position

Moraga Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide to join their dedicated team. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service, while also supporting the daily operations of the dietary department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service, hospitality, dietary, or healthcare experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food safety/handling knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and meal service.
• Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages to residents.
• Assist residents with feeding as assigned and trained.
• Follow dietary requirements and portion control guidelines.
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Stock and organize food and dietary supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and staff.
• Assist with special events and holiday meals as needed.
