About The Position

The Dietary Aide supports nutrition services and resident care by preparing and serving meals, assisting with meal delivery, maintaining cleanliness, managing supplies, and properly sanitizing dishes and equipment. The role requires trustworthiness, consistent attendance, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and a professional, cooperative attitude. Duties are to be completed efficiently and on schedule while supporting food safety, cleanliness, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meal trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Dispose of refuse according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies according to standards, using first-in, first-out practices.
• Prepare meals safely and efficiently by following menus and standardized recipes.
• Portion and serve meals according to recipes and spreadsheet instructions.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
