About The Position
Marshall Healthcare Facility is a 64-bed skilled and long-term care facility located in Machias, Maine. We are seeking compassionate, team-oriented individuals to join our food and nutrition program as Dietary Aides. This role is ideal for those looking for their first job or a meaningful career change, as we provide the necessary training and support for success. As a Dietary Aide, you will be a vital health professional in our food service department, working with Dietary Managers and Cooks to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- No prior experience necessary— we are happy to train you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages following facility procedures.
- Serve residents while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Set up/take down dining areas and assist with kitchen maintenance.
- Help track kitchen supplies and food items.
- Stay current on facility protocols and state regulations.
