About The Position

The Dietary Aide provides assistance in food service functions to ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Daily work includes assisting with food preparation and serving while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions. The position requires a flexible schedule to work any of the three shifts.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health-care experience preferred.
• Prior food services experience preferred.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Flexible schedule to work any of the three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
