About The Position

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is hiring a Dietary Aide to help meet residents’ nutritional needs. The role works closely with the dietary team to prepare and serve meals that accommodate residents’ dietary requirements. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the dietary field; on-the-job training is provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while following sanitation and safety standards.
• Participate in menu planning and food ordering.
• Assist residents at mealtimes by serving meals, feeding residents, and interacting with them.
• Monitor and report residents’ food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
• Ensure meal delivery and tray management are completed accurately and on time.
