Dietary Aide - Full-Time

About The Position

Caretel Inns Brighton is a skilled nursing and assisted living community seeking compassionate and driven Dietary Aides to provide customer service and care. The facility aims to create a positive, productive, and professional environment where team members can grow and thrive. The Dietary Aide serves meals that are appetizing and presented well, assists with timely meal service, follows portion-control procedures, performs scheduled cleaning, and sets up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas.

Requirements

Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 ft. and move or carry that weight at least 50 ft.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Hold a Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms.
