About The Position

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our patients nutritional requirements are taken care of and fed. The Dietary Aide takes patient meal orders, delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area, collects trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers. They will also replenish floor stock with food and nutrition items, assemble required portions for patient meals while ensuring high quality food served at appropriate temperature, and assist in the assembly of all flatware and kitchenware. Proper rotation during restocking floor stock is essential. The role is responsible for setup, breakdown and sanitation of all patient trayline equipment and serving areas while ensuring high quality food served at appropriate temperature. Performs computer related activities as required. Knowledge of patient diets is sufficient to serve patient meals accurately.
