About The Position

Mesa Glen Care Center is an award-winning family company providing skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living services. The Dietary Aide helps provide quality customer service to residents, families, coworkers, and vendors while supporting meal preparation and dining services in a skilled nursing facility. The position is part-time on the 2 p.m.–8 p.m. shift. Experience is desirable but not required.

Requirements

• Be mentally alert.
• Be clean and appropriately groomed.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality customer service to residents, families, coworkers, and vendors.
• Pre-assemble resident trays and carts as directed.
• Assist with food preparation and serve residents at tables in skilled dining.
• Prepare and pour beverages and assorted snacks.
• Prepare and deliver between-meal nourishment and snacks to the nursing station.
• Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables and furnishings, after meals.
• Ensure the dining room is clean and transport dishes, trash, and other items to the appropriate area.
• Restock all areas.
• Attend all mandatory in-service meetings.
