About The Position
The Glenview at Pelican Bay, a continuing care retirement community in Naples, Florida, is seeking a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to assist with food functions and provide outstanding service. The role includes serving meals, assisting with meal service, setting up trays, carts, and dining areas, helping the cook prepare meals, handling menus, delivering food and snacks, and completing related tasks as instructed. The position is part-time, with shifts available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have a desire to join a team dedicated to providing outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms.
- Assist the cook in preparing meals.
- Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
- Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
- Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.
