About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to rotate shifts, work weekends, holidays and accept call to meet the St. Anne Home’s scheduling needs.
• Criminal background check required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience preferred but not required. Will train.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents as they enter the dining room and assists them in finding their assigned seating.
• Provide assistance with selection of foods as well as pour coffee and other drinks and clearing/cleaning tables.
• A high level of social interaction with residents is expected.
• Occasionally assist with cold food preparation under the direction of the chef.
• Set tables in dining rooms with correct place settings.
• Place appropriate beverages and items pertinent to each meal on dining room tables.
• Serve all food and desserts for dining room according to resident’s requests with regard to specific food orders.
• Clear and clean tables and chairs after meals.
