About The Position
Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a dependable and caring Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team! Help create a positive dining experience for our residents while supporting their comfort, nutrition, and well-being.
Requirements
- Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen and assist with standing, lifting, and moving supplies.
- A commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and serving meals according to approved menus and resident dietary needs.
- Assemble meal trays, ensuring correct portions, beverages, and utensils.
- Follow diet instructions and food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and dining areas.
- Assist with storing deliveries and organizing food and supplies.
- Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to support resident needs.
- Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
