About The Position
Niagara Hospice is looking for a Part Time Dietary Aide to join their team. This position involves performing designated food service duties, including collecting menus, delivering meals and snacks, assisting with food preparation, setting and cleaning rooms, replenishing products, collecting trash, and washing dishes and silverware.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to comprehend food service and/or housekeeping operations.
Nice To Haves
- Six (6) months experience as a foodservice worker in a healthcare facility preferred.
Responsibilities
- Helps in collecting menus, delivering meals and snacks, removing and cleaning trays.
- Assists the cook in food preparation as necessary.
- Sets and cleans all rooms as necessary on a daily basis.
- Replenishes any products and collects and removes trash as necessary.
- Washes pots, pans, dishes and silverware according to procedures.
