About The Position

As a Dietary Aide at Long Term Care, you'll contribute more than just your professional skills; you'll create meaningful relationships with the individuals who call Sienna Senior Living Muskoka Shores Community their home. Requirements

• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
• Committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
• Detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicable to Ontario applicants.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
• Possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take the menu orders from the residents
• Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitized
• Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques
