About The Position

Acts is seeking a Dietary Aide to foster a hospitable environment for residents under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager. The role involves preparing and serving meals, setting up and cleaning the dining room, performing some short-order cooking, and completing a variety of kitchen preparation tasks. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training. Student-friendly schedules are available.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with on-the-job training; no experience required.
• Minors under age 18 must obtain a valid work permit if required by the state of employment.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including 7:00 AM–2:00 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, and 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, as well as weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment of hospitality for residents under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of the dining room.
• Perform some short-order cooking and a variety of kitchen preparation tasks.
