About The Position
Cathedral Health Care Center, a respected skilled nursing facility in Jasper, IN, is seeking a Full Time Dietary Aide and Cook to join our dedicated dietary services team. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare dining preferred (required for Cooks).
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Culinary school training a plus (Cook role).
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and timely service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Serve resident meal trays and assist with dishwashing.
- Ensure meals meet residents’ nutritional and dietary needs.
- Prepare and cook meals following menus and dietary guidelines.
- Follow standard recipes, portion control, and special diet orders.
- Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Coordinate food production with scheduled meal times.
