About The Position
Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Dietary Aide/Cashier to join on team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-3 years or more experience in dining services
- Experience in a cashier position, handling cash and providing excellent customer service
- Good people skills and communicates well
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and functions
- Serve Safe Certified
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in dietary and Cafe operations
- Assist with patient quality and care
- Maintain professional guest relations
- Operate cash register
- Stock offsite food storage locations
- Communicate with Chef/Supervisor for inventory and ordering needs
