About The Position

Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are devoted to providing all members of our community with premier-quality health care in a compassionate and inviting environment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Dietary Aide/Cashier to join on team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-3 years or more experience in dining services, healthcare setting preferred
• Must have worked in a cashier position, handling cash and providing excellent customer service
• Good people skills and communicates well
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and functions
• Serve Safe Certified
• Can work independently as well as being a team player

Responsibilities

• Assist in dietary and Cafe operations
• Assist in patient quality and care
• Maintain professional guest relations
• Operate cash register
• Stock offsite food storage locations
• Communicates with Chef/Supervisor for inventory and ordering needs to perform duties
