About The Position

Minden Medical Center is hiring a full-time cardex team member for day shift to support safe, accurate, and welcoming food service for patients, visitors, and staff. The role helps keep cafeteria and cardex operations running smoothly while ensuring patients receive meals aligned with their ordered diets. The cardex teammate prepares the station for service, checks supplies and key items, coordinates with the team on daily priorities, and balances guest interactions with behind-the-scenes tasks during busy meal periods. The teammate also confirms end-of-shift totals, prepares for the next service window, and leaves work and dining areas orderly and ready for the next crew.

Responsibilities

Operate the cash register.
Complete daily deposits.
Restock supplies.
Support correct patient diet service and ensure meals align with ordered diets.
Maintain clean and sanitary work and dining areas.
Prepare the station for service and check that supplies and key items are in place.
Coordinate with the team on priorities for the day.
Confirm end-of-shift totals and prepare for the next service window.
