About The Position

Responsible for café and dining room services for all staff, volunteers, and visitors of South Shore Hospital. Independently establishes and maintains active communication with staff to ensure a pleasant, clean, and safe work environment. Enhances the South Shore Hospital experience for patients, employees, volunteers, and visitors by providing appropriate hospitality and food services. Represents the Hospital appropriately to all audiences in a way that reflects well on the Hospital’s reputation and image. Performs other duties as assigned.

The role is part-time, budgeted for 12.5 hours. Hours vary and may include shifts from 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m., 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 11:30 a.m.–8 p.m., 3 p.m.–8 p.m., 4:30 p.m.–1 a.m., or 5 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Weekend and holiday work is required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Applicants must be over 18.
